Description
Provide government owned equipment, radio/cell phone, with airtime service for the Mobile District Corp of Engineers. The service area consists of remote locations, such as, Parks and Locks and Dams throughout Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Flori da. This is a notice of sole source intent by the Mobile District Corps of Engineers. See Note 22. Mobile District intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Southern Linc, 5555 Glenridge Connector, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30342, Phone 251-694-2334 . Requirements include approximately 15,000 minutes of airtime per month for the district for a period of one year. Service and any additional equipment used must be compatible with and provide the same or equal features to the equipment. Radio/phones w ill keep current telephone numbers. Service/maintenance call response required within 24 hours. On-site service will be required for some equipment. (Mobile Radios on vehicles and vessels and repeater installations). Equipment includes approximately 44 8 Motorola iDEN radio/phones plus accessories and ten IDEN compatible repeaters. Sixty units installed with car kits. Additional mobile radios are installed in vehicles of District Engineers and Corps owned vessels. Radios shall have cell phone capabili ties. Other services required include data, Internet access, pager, cross fleet and group-talk capabilities. Cross Fleet Push-to-talk must be compatible with local law-enforcement offices at existing or better level at the sites listed below. Billing wi ll be both paper and electronic, with transition to total electronic billing acceptable. Locations are: entire State of Alabama, Georgia, panhandle of Florida through Panama City and eastern portion of Mississippi.
