- ************ PLEASE NOTE: - This is a very brief description of our objective in pursuing the use of a Broad Agency Announcement. See the detailed information in SWC BAA 04-01 posted 20 Feb 2004 representing the interests of the SWC and its organizations. The SWC may contract for activities covered in the Focus Areas detailed within this BAA. The intent of the BAA is to investigate and develop concepts and technologies that will enable the SWC to meet current and future AF warfighter space needs. The goal is to develop technologies that provide the best possible space capabilities for AF warfighters, when and where needed, in the most cost-effective manner. White papers and subsequent proposals can cover either development of new capabilities or leveraging off existing capabilities. Please closely follow the directions in the BAA regarding submission of white papers and do not submit a formal proposal at this time. After market research was performed, it was determined that specific funds would not be set aside for Historically Black Colleges and Universities. However, should potential white papers be accepted from those firms, and adequate funding becomes available, proposals will be requested from those institutions.
