- Description
- The Naval Inventory Control Point – Mechanicsburg intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Intergraph Corporation, Huntsville, AL for the award of a one-year indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (ID-IQ) contract with four (year) option periods for NAVSEA CAD2 follow-on systems, supplies and services. This includes NAVSEA CAD2 follow-on requirements for highly specialized engineering systems, support services, software and software development, spare parts, maintenance, and training, where Intergraph Corporation has unique qualifications to support various IT / CAD (information technology / computer-aided-design) projects at Navy and other Government sites. This solicitation will be issued on (or about) 09 March 2004. Only one responsible source is capable of providing upplies compatible with existing fielded systems without Substantial duplication of costs; and, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and the benefit of potential subcontractors. The government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the firm identified herein. Parties interested in pursuing subcontracting opportunities are encouraged to contact the subcontracting department at Intergraph Corporation. See Numbered Note(s): 22.
