- Supplies, This requirement is for the procurement of 2000 Acoustic Reflector Tile manufactured in accordance with MIL-A-24485, Type II and 900 Acoustic Absorber Tile manufactured in accordance with MIL-A-24486, Type II. Item 0001: 600 each 9” X 18” Acoustic Reflector Tile. Item 0002: 1,400 each 12” X 12”.Acoustic Reflector Tile. Item 0003: 900 each 9” X 18” Absorber Tile. These Acoustic tiles are manufactured in accordance with MIL-A-24485, Type II and MIL-A-24486, Type II. Negotiations being conducted with Westland Technologies Inc. the only known source of acoustic tile with prior approved First Article Testing under MIL-A-24485 and 24486. (NOTE 22 Applies). This solicitation document and amendments will be made available at Purchase Services, Bldg. 153, 6th floor, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH.
