- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and incidental supplies necessary to replace the existing sewer system at Big Bend Beach on Lake Vesuvius in Lawrence County, Ohio, on the Wayne National Forest, Ironton Ranger District. The project includes, but is not limited to the following work: 1) replacing a bathroom building septic system, consisting of septic tanks, a recirculating geotextile filter treatment system and a drip dosing disposal system, 2) shop drawings and design details of recirculating filter system and drip disposal system, and 3) removal of existing septic tank, lift station, fencing, and irrigation system. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. local time at the Ironton Ranger District Office located at 6518 State Route 93, Pedro, OH 45659. This solicitation will be advertised using the sealed bidding format and a 20% bid bond is required for a firm fixed price, construction contract. One contract will be awarded on a single lump sum basis. THIS PROJECT IS BEING SET-ASIDE 100% FOR SMALL BUSINESS. This solicitation will be available ONLY electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: http://www.eps.gov/, on approximately March 8, 2004.
