- Description
- This is a modification to the above solicitation number in order to change quantities, incorporate additional line items for the Electro-Me Actuators and extend response date. Synopsis: This is a sole source acquisition to Simmonds Precision Products, Inc. - BF Goodrich Aerospace Aircraft Integrated Systems Motion Controls. Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is for the modification/upgrade of HH60J Electro-Mechanical Actuator, NSN: 1680-01-211-2856, P/N: DL2155M12, modified upgraded to NSN: 1680-01-470-5073, P/N: DL2155M29. Estimated quantity is 60 EA; NSN: 1680-01-211-2856, P/N: DL2155M12, Rework of HH60J Electro-Mechanical Actuator. Estimated quantity is 140 EA; P/N AA47331-1. Replacement Guide Tube. Estimated quantity is 20 EA; and Unusual Damage for the above items. Estimated quantity is 10 EA. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide drawings or specifications for those items. Offerors must possess NAVICP-PICA certification as a repair agent and must provide proof of such prior to contract award. The Coast Guard intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price/requirements type contract with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Simmonds Precision - BF Goodrich, as the only known NAVICP-PICA certified repair agent. Contract period will be one (1)base year plus four (4) option years. Solicitation release date is anticipated to be 11 March 2003. Closing date and time for receipt of offers is 10 April 2003, 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time. Request for solicitation must be in writing.
