- This contract calls award of a performance based contract for snow removal from the parking lot and walking areas at the USDA Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station located at 240 West Prospect Road, Fort Collins, Colorado, 80526. The areas to be plowed include the visitors’ lot (south west corner of the main building), the fleet lot (east side of the main parking lot), the main parking lot (north of the main building), and the two driveways connecting the street and main parking area (refer to Attachment One for a map of the driveways). These areas may be plowed using no more than a one-ton truck with a plow or similar non-diesel vehicle with a muffler no louder than a one-ton truck. This requirement is not negotiable and may be changed only at the direct request of the Contract Officer or the Contract Officer’s Representative during times of excess snow. Award will be made for base year, but there will be four option years that the Government may excercise, at its option.
