- F - - CHERRY BRUSH CRUSH<BR> <BR> Document Type:                Presolicitation Notice<BR> <BR> Solicitation Number:             RFP R3-WZ-04-22<BR> <BR> Posted Date:                  February 18, 2004<BR> <BR> Response Date:            April 5, 2004<BR> <BR> Archive Date:<BR> <BR> Classification Code:                F?Natural resources & conservation services<BR> <BR> Contracting Office Address:<BR> <BR> Description: <BR> <BR>       Cherry Brush Crush.    The project is to mechanically cut chaparral and small trees and treat created slash on the Prescott National Forest.    All chaparral and small trees must be either chipped or shredded.    The project unit, Cherry Brush Crush Unit #7, can be accessed by traveling east on Highway 69 from Prescott, Arizona to state Highway 169.    Travel east on Highway 169 for approximately 8.5 miles to county road 75 and turn left.    Proceed for approximately 6 miles to the community of Cherry.    Unit #7 borders the community on the west and north.    Legal description:    Township 14 North, Range 3 East, Sections 16, 17, and 20.      The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the required work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the solicitation and any resultant contract.    The solicitation will be available on or about March 4, 2004 with offers due April 5, 2004.    The estimated start work date is August 1, 2004 with 90 days of contract time.    NAICS Code is 115310.    The project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.    All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.<BR> <BR>       <BR>
