- Description
- This project is located on the eastern edge of Clark County along the Wabash River in Wabash Township, Illinois. It is approximately ten miles from the town of Marshall, Illinois. This project is to enchance and/or create wetland areas by creating pot holes, excavating sloughs and constructing berms. The major items of work include: pot hole excavating (est 40,300 cy), excavating slough areas (est 21,900 cy), wetland berm construction (est 14,900 cy), installation of two water control structures, installation of 500 tons of road pack materials, 120 ft of corrugated metal pipe installation, 7.0 acres of seeding and mulching of the berms and installation of 50 conservation signs. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The performance time is 90 calendar days. A site showing is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on December 17, 2003, at the Clark County Extension Service Building, 15493 North State Highway #1, Marshall, Illinois.
