- Description
- The Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking remote Medical Transcription Services for the PHS Indian Hospital on the Crow Indian Reservation, Crow Agency, Montana. The contractor shall transcribe surgical reports, history and physicals, discharge summaries, ER notes, consultation notes, mental health notes and consultations, abuse evaluations, medical correspondence, progress notes, radiology reports and Stat notes. The projected lines of dictation for the first year are 668,500 with a 5% increase for each subsequent option year. The IHS intends to award a fixed-price performance-based contract as a result of this solicitation. The contract shall be awarded pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 37.6, Performance-Based Contracting, and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The contract will be awarded for a 12-month period with four 12-month options. Requests for the solicitation should be submitted by February 27, 2004. The tentative issue date of the solicitation is March 1, 2004, with a response date of March 31, 2004. This acquisition is set-aside to 51% Indian-owned firms pursuant to the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C. 47).
