- Solicitation number: F34601-03-R-43699. OC-ALC/LGKIB ATTN: Bobbi Whitlock, 3001 Staff Drive, Bldg 3001 Ste 1AH100A, Tinker AFB, OK 73145-3020. NSN: 6610-00-994-2170, P/N: 26703-3A3A1. Description: Ground Speed Indicator Application: F4. Solicitation Issue Date: 30 September 2003. Estimated Award Date: 31 December 2003 This repair requirement is sole source to Honeywell Inc, 375 N. Lake Street, Boyne City, MI 49712. The Contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and material to accomplish repair/overhaul and/or modification, test, packing, preservation and packaging and return to the Government in a completely serviceable condition, in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the items of Air Force equipment listed herein. A Firm Fixed Price Requirements Type Contract is contemplated with 1 Basic Year and 4 Option Years. The Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) are as follows: CLIN 0001(Basic Year) Qty: 13 Each; CLIN 0002 (Option Year I) Qty: 9 Each; CLIN 0003(Option Year II) Qty: 9 Each; CLIN 0004 (Option Year III) Qty: 9 Each; CLIN 0005 (Option Year IV) Qty: 9 Each. Deliveries are to commence 30 days after receipt of order and repareables as follows: CLIN 0001 (Basic Year) 2 per month, not to exceed 13; CLIN 0002 – CLIN 0005 (Option Years I – IV) 1 per month, not to exceed 9. Ship To addresses will be provided when serviceable assets are ready to ship. Only written, faxed, or electronic requests received directly from the requester are acceptable. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Qualification Requirements apply to all CLINs. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. AUTHORITY: 10 USC 2304(C)(1), JUSTIFICATION: SUPPLIES REQUIRED ARE AVAILABLE FROM ONLY ONE OR A LIMITED NUMBER OF RESPONSIBLE SOURCE(S) AND NO OTHER TYPE OF SUPPLIES OR SERVICES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
