Description
DESC: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. TACOM-RI is seeking qualified Small Business sources willing to enter into a BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT (BPA) (FAR 13.303) for a period of 3 years, invol ving the following M198 Howitzer items listed by NSN, Part Number, and Nomenclature: (1) 5340-01-095-8796, 12008605-1, Bracket, Mounting; (2) 5340-01-095-8797, 12008605-2, Bracket, Mounting; (3) 1025-01-107-9156, 12009049-2, Arm Assembly; (4) 3040-01-108-4 962, 11578897, Cam Control; (5) 2540-01-210-3681, 12009230, Guard, Splash, Vehicle; (6) 5120-01-210-3687, 12009295, Jack, Screw Hand; (7) 6220-01-213-2430, 12009284, Taillight, Vehicular; (8) 5340-01-293-5683, 12909125, Handle, Manual C; (9) 1025-01-476-77 82, 12992232, Handle, Tee. Contractors will not be required to provide all nine (9) items listed above in order to become a qualified source of supply. Individual awards will be made for the item or combination of items that result in the lowest overall cost to the Government. Requirements are not known at this time and may vary considerably. There is no guarantee of requirements. Past Performance History will be considered when establishing these BPAs. The Government will consider suppliers whose pas t performance has shown them to be dependable, offering quality supplies at consistently lower prices, and, who have provided numerous purchases at or below the simplified acquisition threshold. All Small Business Sources will be given an equal opportuni ty to furnish supplies or services under the BPA. FOB is Destination. First Article Test WILL NOT be required. The quantities may be very small and sporadic. Potential sources must provide in their statement of capabilities: (1)History of other similar parts made; (2)Small Business Designation, (e.g., 8(a), HUB Zone) in relation to NAIC 336322 or SIC 3694 (size standard 750). Qualified contractors interested in entering into this agreement will receive the Technical Data Package (TDP) for the above lis ted items prior to establishment of the BPA. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and the Government will not pay or otherwise reimburse respondents for information submitted. Your response indicating interest in this program, along with the required information discussed above, are due to the Contracting Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Mark Hicks, FAX (309) 782-1961 by March 04, 2004.
