- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Detailed Specs and Description -- Trays : More than 2 Legal and Letter. Other Features: Stapling, Collating, Copy of Both Sides of the Document. To include maintenance service, la bor and supply. New machines preferred and or copier shall be capable of reliable reproducing the minimum number of copies per months, without excessive malfunctions. Services Calls: contractor must be strictly responsive. Copiers repaired within 24 wo rking hours after service call ?????? for some copiers should be no more than 12 hours after service call. Please let me know how much toner will be supplied per machine. Volume Band II ?????? Qty: 10, 25,000 CPM (45 CPM), Estimated Quantity 7,025,000 per mth Volume Band III ?????? Qty: 32, 10,000 CPM (25 CPM), Estimated Quantity 800,000 per mth Volume Band IV ?????? Qty: 15, 5,000 CPM, (25 CPM), Estimated Quantity 465,000 per mth Expected Period of Performance: 1 Apr 04 to 30 Sep 04 (Tentative) PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (TENTATIVE): 01 APR 04 TO 30 SEP 04. This is a request for quote for 6 MONTHS TERM CONTRACT. However, please provide two separate quotes : One for a 6 Month Term, Another one : For one base year plus four option years. PROPOSA LS: Must be received either via in person, fax 787-707-3957 / 3751, e-mail: delgadoj@usarso.army.mil or regular mail in or before 4:00pm (local time) of the business day 25 February 2004. To avoid any exclusions, interested parties must confirm receipt of the package / proposal by this agency. The contractor must have a Cage Code / DUNS from the Central Contractor Registration. Method of Payment: Electronic Funds Transfer (must be CCR) or Credit Card. English Language Documentation: All contractor-prepared correspondence furnished under this contract shall be written in the English language. Liability. For the purpose of this contract, the Contractor is considered as an independent contractor and not as an agent of the U.S. Government. During performance, the Contractor shall be liable and will indemnify and hold harmless the Government, its agents and employees against all actions or claims for all damages to persons or property, including death arising or resulting from fault, negligence, wrongful act, or wrongful omission of the Contractor, his agents or employees. Potential Contractors may be excluded from the competition if failure to comply with the above.
