- Description
- Project consists of collecting and recording data (height, diameter and condition codes) on approximately 20,000 10-year-old Douglas fir and ponderosa pine test trees and approximately 15,000 15-year-old ponderosa pine test trees on National Forest land. Trees are located on 15 evaluation plantations within five National Forests in northern California. Data will be collected using a Government-furnished MC-V field data recording device. Anticipated start work date is April 15, 2004 for some of the units and August 16 for the remainder. Items are grouped according to geographic proximity and award will be made by the item. Award will be made based on best value to the Government considering price and other factors. Solicitation can be downloaded from this website on or about February 27, 2004.
