- This solicitation is for the establishment of an Indefinite Quantity type contract for items related to or used on the AM General HWWMV in accordance with drawings and specifications for which the Government has unlimited rights. The FSCs represented in the solicitation are 2510 and 2540. The solicitation, which includes the NSNs, item description, part numbers, Annual Demand Quantity and delivery schedule will be available for download on the issue date of 19 Feb 2004 under the Solicitations menu on the DSCC Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) under the heading DSCC Requests for Proposal (RFP) / Invitation For Bid (IFB). Access is directly available by accessing http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/RFP/. The focus for this acquisition is 3 NSNs managed by DSCC. The solicitation covers base year with option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. See numbered notes 1 and 9. The FOB is Destination. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. It is required that a written offer be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified. DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the solicitation.
