- Description
- The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency intends to solicit proposal for services in support of four functional areas :(1) Training and Employee Development Services; (2) Information Management and Processing Services; (3) Debt Management Services;and (4) Loan Operation Services. The previous pre-solicitation notices were RFI-03-001DC and RFC-008-03DC. The services which are currently provided by Government personnel were announced for Commercial Activity Cost Comparison Study in accordance with OMB Circular A-76. In accordance with the OMB Circular A-76, the offeror determined to represent the best value to the Goverment will be compared to the Government's proposal to perform the above services. The purpose of this study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing the various services for all functional areas. This acquisition will be conducted under the North American Industrial Classification Code 54199 with a small business size standard of $6 million. The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The resulting contract will be for a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. If the government performance is determined to be most advantageous, the solicitation will be cancelled. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be available on or about June 10, 2003 to interested parties at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http:www.eps.gov. Potential offers must download the solicitation from the sebsite and must monitor the website for potential changes/amendments to the solicitation.
