Description

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT - The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to conduct a streamlined competition in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, dated May 29, 2003. The streamlined competition is for ten (10) full-time equivalent janitorial positions required to support the Visitors Center and Transfer Station located at the Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. As prescribed in FAR 8.704, the Javits-Wagner-O?Day (JWOD) Act (41 U.S.C. 46-48c) requires the Government to purchase supplies or services on the procurement list established by the Committee, from JWOD participating nonprofit agencies if they are available within the time period required. Therefore this competition will only consider offers representing the use of federal employees (MEO) and NISH, a JWOD non-profit mandatory source of supply. No solicitation exists. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) for this competition is Mr. Thomas Ferguson; the Agency Tender Official (ATO) is Ms. Charlene Williams and the Contracting Officer is Ms. Jennifer Sellers. The projected end date is on or before February 28, 2004.
