- Description
- Annual requirement for a base year (no option years) for all necessary services and materials to lauder contaminated Government owned items. Items include, but are not limited to 1,500 coveralls and cotton hoods, 3,500 rubber shoe covers, 2,500 rubber gloves, 5,000 armsleeves. Quantities are estimates only. Period of performance will be 2 March 2004, or date of award, whichever is later, through 31 December 2004. This is an unrestricted solicitation. Contractor must possess a license authorizing the commercial operation of radioactive wearing apparel laundering facilities. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which will be considered by the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound. The future soliciation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
