Description

DESC: 1005-01-141-1235, Part Number 9340487, The item to procure is a Barrel Buffer Assembly used on the M2 .50 CAL Machine Gun. The Barrel Buffer Assembly consists of; Buffer Tube (9340486), Rod Assembly (6008763), and Piston Rod Nut (9340485). Th e Assembly is about 4 inches long by 1-inch diameter. Solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. Requirements are 1,800 each Barrel Buffer Assembly with a 200% option requirement. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 25 Feb 2004 with an e stimated response date of 14 Apr 2004. Any questions should be addressed to Sheri Gross, grosss@ria.army.mil, or (309) 782-4857. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that can be viewed with the solicitation via the internet. The solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
