- This announcement serves as the pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR 5.203(a)(1). On or about 03 Jan 04, the 49th Contracting Squadron will issue a request for quotation to procure the service of carpet installation. NAICS:238330 Size Standard: $12,000,000. This acquisition has been set-aside for a small business concern. This acquisition will be to procure the following service: removal of existing carpet and installation of new contractor provided carpet. Additional specs and info will be attached to the solicitation when it is posted. The solicitation will be posted and must be downloaded from www.eps.gov. Paper solicitations will not be issued, however a copy will be available for public viewing at the 49th Contracting Squadron, 1210 Forty Niner Ave., Holloman AFB NM 88310. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register in order to be eligible for award. Pursuant to FAR 52.211-6, offerors may propose an (or equal) product. Offerors proposing and (or equal)product are advised to follow the instructions in the clause.
