Description
Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, on behalf of Southeast Regional Cooperative Administrative Support Unit intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Azimuth Corporation for necessary engineering and technical services required for development of Ultra High Strength Steel Manufacturing Technology Objective. Azimuth Corporation has access to key material development resources to provide the technical support required by US Army, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. Sole source is justified under FAR 6.302-1(a)(ii), as a logical follow up to an existing effort where substantial duplication of cost to the Government that would not be expected to be recovered through competition. Responsible sources may submit a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information and other literature demonstrating the ability to meet requirements. To be considered an affirmative response, offerors must provide sufficient information to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Telephonic responses shall not be accepted. Please reference the solicitation number stated in your response. Notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within the 10 calendar days of this synopsis will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competetive procurement.
