- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for the services of on-site Sign Language Interpreters. The services will be required 40 hours per week at the FHWA Headquarters located at 400 Seventh Street, SW., Washington, DC. A Primary, Secondary, and On-Call Interpreters will be required. Interpreters shall possess national certification and have the ability to keep pace with normal conversations, ability to imitate nuances, tone information, inflection and the spirit of the speaker?s voice, comprehensive knowledge of the use of the English vocabulary, and the ability to interpret phone calls. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will consist of a one-year base period with two one-year option periods. This requirement is a 100 percent set-aside for small business pursuant to NAICS code 541930 with a small business size standard of $6million annual average gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the Fed Biz Opps website for any solicitation amendments.
