Description

In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B, B.1), dated May 29, 2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a standard competition on the commercial activity functions characterized as Library Services performed at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), at locations in Atlanta and in CDC locations outside of Atlanta. Currently 49 FTEs have been identified as associated with performing the functions under study. The Competitive Sourcing Official is Dr. Edward Sontag, the Contracting Officer is Dale Defilipps, and the Agency Tender Official (ATO) is Jocelyn Rankin. The standard study is expected to be completed within 12 months of this announcement. A firm-fixed price type of contract for the base year and four (4) option years is anticipated, not to exceed sixty (60) months. RFP 2004-N-01141 (first draft) is anticipated to be available on or about 03/15/2004. RFP 2004-N-01141 (second draft) will be available on or about 05/04/2004. Full and open competition will be used in soliciting offers for this requirement. This proposed procurement is not set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 519120.
