- DESC: See numbered note 26. NSN 3040-01-183-8357 Starter Engine, Electrical used on MEP-16A Generator set converted from gasoline to diesel engine (MEP-16D) AND YANMAR ENGINE IN 2KW TACTICAL QUIET GEN-SETS, 24 VOLT. The item is being procured in accordance with a CODE AND Part number OAK42 PN 114362-77990. The solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract (IQC) with an estimated yearly quantity of 1212 each to be shipped to various stock locations within CONUS. The contract is for the base year and up to 4 option years. The required delivery schedule is for up to 303 each to be delivered within 60 days with an additional 101 each every 30 days thereafter. This requirement is set-aside and all responsible, offers will be considered. The solicitation will be available on the web after 02/17/04 ?http://dibbs.dsccols.com/Rfp. A written quoted is required to be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified, DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in the solicitation.
