Description

CLOSE QUARTERS DEFENSE. Scope: Contractor shall conduct a five day course of instruction for Forty five (45) personnel. The contractor shall teach a comprehensive course that includes tactical movement and use of cover, tactical formations, room entry clear and contact, vehcile takedown and extraction, emergency extractions, prisoner snatch, attack the attacker, operators weapons system, standing mobility, ground fighting, pressure control points, weapon control and retention, zone domination, weapon defense and disarmament, force control, situation awareness and response, physical conditioning through tactical exercises, strike intervention, room entry clear and contact, multiple threats, shooting skills and cycle, prisoner control methods, crowd control, specialized weapons for covert operations, vehicle takedown and extraction, deployment to/from a vehicle, multiple threats, firearms support weapons, sentry removal and counterassault tactics and techniques. REQUIREMENTS: Expand the training provided in earlier levels by giving an even greater depth of knowledge and understanding in the six division of CQD with "Full Circle Tac-House" and Hooded Box evolutions, validating the team's readiness, and focusing on the Team's area of operations. TRAVEL: Travel will be in accordance with the JFTR. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: All training will be conducted in San Diego County, California. GOVERNMENT SUPPLIED MATERIALS: The government will supply personnel tactical gear, helo assets, Naval Special Warfare CQD Training facility, workspaces and vehicles. CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH instruction. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The contractor shall provide all labor and material to accomplish the tasks described above. The course of instruction commences on 16 February 2004 and ends 20 February 2004.
