- Concerns having the ability to furnish the services described herein are requested to give written notification (including the telephone number for a point of contact) to the procurement office above within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of this synopsis. The contractor shall refurbish up to 20 Teleonics Generation II or II with option to refurbish 20 more collars in the next 2 years. GPS Store-on-board Telemetry collars. All collars must be refurbished back to user specifications, including complete replacement of battery system, collar material, all antennas and packaging. Upgrades to electronic assemblies & software must also be incorporated. Since the collars to be refurbished are Teleconics collars they are the only company that can refurnish their collars that they have manufactured, the Government considers this service specified as a sole source to Telonics, Inc. 932 E. Impala Avenue, Mesa, AZ. 85204-6699. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required service are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement. An affirmative response would include literature, brochures and such other materials which correspond to the required service stated herein. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Since no solicitation document exists, requests for such documents without accompanying information consideration non-responsive to this request without further consideration. This notice may represent the Government's only official notice of this procurement. Note 1 & 22.
