- Point of Contact: Susan Hwang, Team Leader/Logistician, Tri-Service Regional Business Office, TRICARE Pacific Region 12, Honolulu, Hawaii. Telephone:(808) 433-3686. Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of Disposable Under Pads. TRICARE Pacific Region 12, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard medical treatment facilities in Hawaii, Guam, Korea, Japan and Okinawa are in the process of standardizing Disposable Under Pads. If your company holds or is in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) for Disposable Under Pads, your company is eligible to participate in the standardization process. This i s in pursuant to the DAPA clause by which DAPA holders agree to the standardization process. Please respond by e-mail: susan.hwang@amedd.army.mil and provide your (1) company name, (2) address, (3) point of contact, (4) telephone number, (5) fax number, (6) e-mail address, and (7) answers to the below listed questions no later than February 13, 20 04. Also, please send your product literature on Disposable Under Pads by February 13, 2004 to: Susan Hwang, Tricare Regional Business Office, TPLA MCHK-LA, 1 Jarrett White Road, Tripler AMC, Hawaii 96859-5000. For questions, please call (808) 433-3686. 1. Does your company have a DAPA? If yes, what is the DAPA#? 2. Does your company have a distribution agreement with the Prime Vendor? 3. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture/distribute this product line? 4. What standards do you use for product manufacturing? 5. Can your company service Hawaii, Japan, Okinawa, Guam and Korea? 6. Are educational/instructional materials available? 7. Is this product line latex free? 8. Does your company provide at least two sizes of pads: approximately 23??????x36?????? and 30??????x36??????? 9. Does your company provide at least three (3) grades of absorbency for the fluff matting? a. Regular absorbency b. Highly or super absorbent with a substance which ??????gels?????? the moisture c. Highly absorbable fluff, covered by a material that allows for air passage and reduction of heat between the patient and the pad 10. Does your polymer fluff wick away moisture? 11. Is the last layer of the pad a moisture proof poly material? 12. Is the product??????s facing tear resistant?
