- This is a solicitation notice for the renovation and construction of an addition to the administrative area of ADAL Fuel System Maintenance Dock B-280 (Hanger 280) at the Little Rock Air Force Base. The facility consists of 13,089 square feet. Mod ifications to the building will include mechanical, electrical, fire protection/detection, lightning protection, seismic protection, communication services, and other support infrastructures changes. Force protection will be incorporated. In addition the re will be options to be determined. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Construction time is anticipated to take approx. 330 days after notice to proceed. It is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. Th e North American Industrial Classification System code is 236220 and the annual size is $28.5 million. This is solicitation will be a Request for Proposal, Best Value, unrestricted. Solicitation issue date is 26 January 2004, with date for receipt of pro posals on or about 26 February 2004. The solicitation will be available on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and provided free of charge. It has been determined that the number of CD-ROMS will be limited to one (1) per firm. Plans and specifications will not be pro vided in a printed hard copy format. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via our Corps Internet Homepage: https://ebs.swl.usace.army.mil this will ensure each plan holder receives notification of amendments to the solicitation as they are issued. Request may be made in writing to Little Rock District, Corps of Engineers, P.O. Box 867 / 700 W. Capitol, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-0867, by fax at (501) 324-5680, or by email at Dudley.A.Smith@us.army.mil. No phone calls to order please. The plans and specifications will be available to download from the Corps Internet Homepage stated above. All orders will be via first class mail.
