- The Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center at Fort McPherson, GA intends to procure on a sole source basis with Jarvis International Intelligence, Inc., 11720 E. 21st Street, Tulsa, OK 74129. The contract will be firm fixed pric ed and include a base period of twelve months plus two one-year option periods. The contract is for an Advanced Electronics Training course consisting of one week of classroom instruction and one week of practical exercises based on real world Intel for Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). First training class will begin on March 1, 2004. Classroom instruction must include all aspects of electronics that apply to the specific requirements addressed in tasking notification, and include at least ten (10) pr actical exercises per training. Practical exercises must consist of real world scenarios involving simulated Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) devices. Contractor must provide a classroom for five days of training. Ten simulated WMD??????s, two vehicl es with alarms, eight buildings with alarms, and three instructors for five days of training. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 611430. The Small Business Size Standard is $6.0 million. This notice is not a request for quotation. Jarvis Intelligence is the only known company that provides this specific blend of training. However, any firm believing it is capable of meeting requirements may submit technical documentation to establish the firm??????s capability to provide services. The Government will consider all responses received within ten days of the date of this synops is. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduc t a competitive procurement or to proceed on a sole source basis.
