- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates awarding a contract for Mission Support Services for Preparation of Toxicological Profiles. The successful contractor will be required to support the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) in the following areas: development and updating (as new knowledge becomes available) of toxicological profiles; analysis of specific topics related to the development of the toxicological profiles; identification of data needs; and the determination of significant human exposure levels (SHELs) for a target number of hazardous substances which are most commonly found at facilities on the EPA National Priorities List (NPL) and which pose the most significant potential threat to human health. In addition, the proposed contract will provide support for continued development of draft and final toxicological profiles on substances that may be identified by the Department of Energy, Department of Defense and other scientific documents. Requests for the solicitation will be e-mailed to offerors who have expressed an interest via e-mail to ktw6@cdc.gov. Hard copy solicitations will not be available. The date specified for receipt of offers will be approximately 30 days after the RFP issue date. Request for the RFP must specify the RFP Number 2003-N-00884 and the request is due no later than August 4, 2003. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The RFP is anticipated to be released 30 January 2004. All responsible sources that meet the Government?s requirements may submit a proposal, which will be considered by CDC.
