Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-R4-04-06 is being issued as a Request for Quotations; the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 19. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 488190; size standard is $6.0 million annual average gross revenue over the past 3 years. Contract Line item number 1: Perform Hot Section Inspection (HSI) on engines installed on Government-owned DHC-6-300 aircraft; quantity 1 job. Description of requirements: disassemble, perform hot section inspection (HSI) and reassemble engine serial numbers PCE42267 and PCE42271 installed on Government-owned aircraft N141Z, s/n 803. All work to be done in accordance with Pratt & Whitney PT6A-27 Maintenance Manual P/N 3036132, Chapter 72. Work will take place at the Forest Service facilities located at Ogden-Hinckley Airport, Ogden, Utah. Work is to begin on February 23, 2004. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration, is included as an addenda to 52.212-1 ? vendors are required to be registered in the CCR prior to award of any contract. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated on the following factors: technical capability of firm to perform the work; past performance of similar work; and price. Technical and past performance, when combined, are equal to price. Please be sure your offer includes all information necessary to evaluate in accordance with these factors. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, with its offer. The provision at 52.204-6, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number, is included as an addenda to 52.212-3. Vendors are required to furnish their DUNS number with their offer.
