- This information is for solicitation SP0100-04-R-0071. The item is Coat, Mn's P/W AG 489. The applicable NSN(S) for this procurement is 8405-01-503-4073/506-3457. The military specification is MIL-C-44211B dated 4 January 1995 with pattern dated 17 July 2000. This is a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Type Contract and a Total Small Business Set Aside acquisition with a purchase quantity of 120,360 minimum/180,540 maximum for the base year with four term options. The first delivery is due 120 days from date of award. All items used in the fabrication of this item will be provided by the contractor with the exception of the basic material, Cloth, P/W AG 489, which will be provided by the government. The destination is the contractor's storage facility as this will be a Bill and Hold contract. This is a Best Value acquisition with Source Selection procedures. The following factors will be utilized in descending order of importance: PDM, Experience/Past Performance, Bill and Hold and DLA Mentoring Business Agreement. Reference numbered notes 1, 9 and 26. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home AFTER March 1, 2004. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The NSN notification will contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet.
