Description

DoDEA has a requirement for the continued software maintenance and support of its WinSchool School Information Management System. Win School?, from Chancery Software Ltd., was adopted by DoDEA as a result of a competitive source selection process and has since become the agency?s baseline school information management system. The WinSchool program maintains data on student enrollment, attendance, discipline, grading, health and scheduling information; provides for the export of data to health, nursing, Special Education, and headquarters program management applications; and develops standardized and adhoc management reports of student activities and school operations used at the school, district, area, and headquarters level for decision-making. To meet the requirement for continued software maintenance and support, DoDEA plans to award a firm fixed price contract for 223 school site licenses, along with support for 18 district and area offices, and DoDEA headquarters. The period of performance of this contract is for a one year base period beginning March 2004 with options for each of the four years thereafter. Known firms who are authorized to provide these licenses and are capable of authorized product support will be solicited. Other parties who have this capability may request copies of the solicitation (HE1254-04-R-0008).
