Description
Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Seeks Space for Lease Midtown Manhattan Requirements: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, a bureau of the U.S. Department of Treasury, is seeking to lease between 23,000-27,000 ANSI/BOMA Office Area (approximately equivalent to ?carpetable? square feet) of office and related space, located on no more than two floors. Space must be capable of meeting accessibility requirements. Buildings on the Historic Register, eligible for the Historic Register or within a Historic District are encouraged to offer. Subleases are not eligible for consideration, unless the building?s owner has agreed to execute a prime lease with the Government if a lease award is made. Location: Buildings must be within the area bounded by 42nd Street on the south to 7th Avenue then Broadway on the west to 62nd Street until Central Park West then 59th Street until 5th Avenue then 62nd Street again on the north to 3rd Avenue on the east. Buildings located on either side of the boundary streets will be considered within this delineated area. Lease Term: Ten (10) years firm with two (2) five (5) year options. Occupancy: Space must be ready for demolition and commencement of tenant improvements by no later than January 1, 2005. Response to Include: 1. Building name and address 2. Available rentable and ANSI/BOMA Office Area square footage and rental rate per rentable and Office Area square foot 3. Date space is available for construction of tenant improvements 4. Proposed floor(s) 5.
