Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm-fixed price sole source contract with EDO MTech Inc., 1458 County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006-1811 for the upgrade and procurement of BRU-55 Aircraft Bomb Ejector Racks to add the capability to carry conventional weapons, spare power relay assemblies, as well as technical and engineering support. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: EDO MTech is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of BRU-55 and the only known firm to possess the technical expertise required to manufacturer the BRU-55 and relay assemblies to meet the requirements time line. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract.
