- IT Services Sources Needed Synopsis This Special Notice is a request for information prior to drafting and releasing any resultant solicitation. The information contained in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date, is subject to change and is not bind ing on the Government. Any significant changes will be provided by subsequent synopsis, if required. The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) is seeking the availability of potential small business sources capable of providing IT s ervices. The purpose of this effort is to assist the Government in developing its acquisition strategy. If you are interested in competing in one or more of the functional areas, listed below, please indicate your interest by sending an e-mail no later than 2 February 2004 2:00 PM EST to Mr. Alan Kartchner, kartchnera@sddc.army.mil with a copy to Ms. Ruby Mixon at mixonr@sddc.army.mil. The functional areas, as identified in the draft performance work statement (PWS), are: Program Management Support, Research Analysis and Design, System Development, System Integration, Information Assurance, Independent Verification and Validation, System s Deployment, Change Management, Systems Operation and Maintenance, Training Support, Customer Support, Network Administration, Remote Site System Support, Desktop Support, Content Management, Multimedia Support, Telecommunications Support, Emergency Manag ement, Logistics, and Technology Insertion. Your e-mail should contain the following subject line: Sources Sought Response to IT Services Requirement. Use of any other subject line may delay your entry. All valid e-mail responses from prospective sources must provide the return e-mail address, com pany name, mailing address, telephone number, facsimile number, and point of contact within the body of their responses. In addition, please include the following in your response: 1) List all functional areas for which you have the capability to perform in-house (e.g. without teaming or subcontracting); 2) Under what NAICS codes are you eligible to propose (list all codes) for each area identified; 3) Provide a list of customers within the past 5-years highlighting similar work performed, including con tract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement, a brief description of work performed, and a point of contract with phone number. ALL RESPONDENTS MUST RESPOND TO THIS SYNOSIS VIA E-MAIL. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR RETURNED. Submit responses no later than 2 February 2004 by 2:00 PM EST. NO SOICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. There is no commitment on the part of the Go vernment to award a contract as a result of this notice or to pay for any information received.
