- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), requires Support in Providing a National Asthma Survey to be sponsored by the Air Pollution and Respiratory Health Branch (APRHB), a Division of Environmental Health Hazards and Health Effects for the National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH). The Government intends to award a contract to field National Asthma Surveys by state as well as a national sample survey. This project includes generating samples, training interviewers, conducting telephone interviews, editing and processing survey data, weighting and processing data for analysis of health information about children and adults to determine the asthma burden in states. The Contracts Office intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price contract for a base period of twelve (12) months, with four (4) additional twelve (12) month option periods. The solicitation shall be issued on an unrestricted basis. It is anticipated that Request for Proposal (RFP) Number 2004-N-01134 will be issued on or about February 17, 2004 with a closing date on or about March 18, 2004. All responsible sources capable of providing the services requested are encouraged to submit a proposal. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
