Description
Description: See numbered notes 1, 9, and 26. NSN 4330-01-495-6900 ? Parts Kit, Fluid Pressure Filter. For filter element, item 14, first article test (FAT) applies unless filter is provided by a waived source. At this time the only waived source is International Filter Manufacturing, P/N A-D53. If FAT is required the filter housing, NSN 2940-01-188-5117, will be supplies as Government Furnished Material for the test. The kit is being bought in accordance with DSCC (16236) drawing 2590LIST-002 and all related documents. Total quantity required is1495 kits going to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001, FOB destination is requested. There is an option for 1495 kits, which may or may not be exercised by the Government and pricing for increments up to 3000 kits. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 2/6/04. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the above issue date from DSCC-VTCD at the above web cite. Requests should include the RFP number, opening/closing date, NSN, purchase Request Number (e.g. YPC/YPE), buyer?s name and your complete name and address. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small HubZone concerns. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 165 days including the time for the FAT. A written quotation is required.
