Description
Amendment #1 -- Following is a list of questions with OTS's response regarding the Professional Hacking Class requirements. QUESTION: Without setup requirements for the course, and the technical requirements to establish an appropriate training room, it is impossible to prepare an adequate response. The short turnaround time for a response to the solicitation seems to indicate a preferred vendor. RESPONSE: The Government does not have a preferred vendor. The short turn around time is based on a commercially available class, scheduling time, and workload demand. QUESTION: Is there a vendor currently identified for this RFP? RESPONSE: A contractor has not been identified. The purpose of the competitive combined synopsis/solicitation is to award a contract to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. QUESTION: How many students will there be in the course? RESPONSE: As stated in the combined synopsis/solicitation, approximately six. QUESTION: Does the vendor need to supply the training facility or will the government? RESPONSE: The Government will supply the training facility. QUESTION: Does the vendor need to supply any training equipment (personal workstations for exercises) or will the government? RESPONSE: The Government will supply personal workstations. QUESTION: How many days of training are requested? RESPONSE: The course length is to be determined by the contractor based on the the class requirements specified in the combined synopsis/solicitation . QUESTION: What are the specifications, and desired agenda, for the course? RESPONSE: All requirements are specified in the combined synopsis/solicitation. The contractor is to submit the course agenda based on the Government's requirements. QUESTION: When would the course be taught? RESPONSE: The course is to be taught in May, 2004.
