Description

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Karns Enterprises located at 2007 Old Arden Court, Martinsburg, West Virginia 25401, to integrate Interactive CD ROM ?Firearms Identification Guide (FIG), and enhancements. It is anticipated that a minimum of 4500 copies of the software CD-ROMs may be purchased for use by ATF. The period of performance, including all option period, will be a maximum of one year from the date of award. The only known source for providing the Firearms Identification Guide (Volume 2 E-trace Integration) CD ROM is Karns Enterprises. Interested parties shall provide written responses, that includes a detailed description of their capabilities and qualifications, and pricing data, within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this publication. Alternative software will not be considered. Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice is for informational purposes only; it is not a request for proposals. No solicitation document exists. This announcement does not obligate the government in any manner to proceed with a procurement.
