- NA The work of this project consists of maintenance dredging of the Narraguagus River Federal Channel and anchorage areas to restore the areas to their authorized depths. Approximately 184,000 cubic yards of primarily silts, clays, sawdust and sawmill waste will be dredged by mechanical bucket dredge. The project will also require removal of boulders and debris from several areas. The dredged material will be placed in scows and disposed of in an area in southwestern Narraguagus Bay west of Pond Island. Th e estimated cost of this work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 150 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Prospective Bidders, subcontractors and plan rooms are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet at http://www.nae.usace.army.mil under the Active Solicitations link. Registration instructions and the media by which the solicitation will be issued are available at this site and includes viewer downloads. All responsible source s may submit a bid which will be considered by the New England District. Applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 237990 with a size standard of $17,020,000.00.
