- Description
- Travis AFB is seeking to provide on-site preventive maintenance to include intervening service calls for government owned Varian Linear Accelerator System located at David Grant Medical Center. Offerors shall be able to provide comprehensive maintenance service support to ensure 96% or better minimum uptime, per system calculated (separately) on a monthly basis. The systems requiring maintenance are: Clinac 2100C, Multi-Leaf Collimator Model MLC-80, Ximatron 720032. Systems shall be maintained in accordance with original equipment manufacturer and statement of work specifications. Subject services include, but are not limited to: Scheduled/unscheduled service; service reports, response/uptime guarantees; OEM replacement parts; experienced/trained technicians; system updates; installation/maintenance of system upgrades; and any and all things necessary to provide subject service including travel except what is government furnished. Period of performance is 01 April 2004 through 30 September 2004 (6 months), plus four one-year options periods. This contract may be subject to the Service Contract Act. A wage determination has been requested for Solano County. See FAR 52.222-48 Exemption From Application of the Service Contract Act Provisions for Contracts for Maintenance, Calibration, and/or Repair of Certain Information Technology, Scientific and Medical and/or Office and Business Equipment ? Contractor Certification, August 1996. This is a commercial acquisition being advertised unrestricted. NAICS Code is 811219. The related Small Business Size Standard is $6 million. The solicitation package will be posted in FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at http://www.eps.gov/, on or about 01 Aug 03 and close on or about 26 January 2004. THESE DATES ARE ONLY ESTIMATES AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. The specific closing date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation package. Facsimile, telephone, written or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps site for release of the solicitation package and downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information.
