- FA4659-04-R0004 FUEL SYSTEM REPAIR/REPAIR FILL STAND, PUMPS AND RECEIPT VALVES PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Location: Grand Forks AFB ND. Description of work is as follows: Contractor will furnish all plant, labor materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to provide, for four separate tanks numbered 508,510,659 and 660, a 100 gallon water draw off tank with an electric pump at each tank so water can be drawn out of the sump in each tank and then any fuel also drawn out can be pumped back into the tank. Extra fittings valves and a dry break will also be provided to run pipe into the wall of the dike to provide easier and safer water removal. The existing drainage structure for the dike enclosure around tanks 659 and 660 will be modified. Existing valves will be removed and replaced with a new 90-degree elbow and ball joint. A 6-inch pipe will be attached to the ball joint. Rainwater collected in the containment dikes will be drained by lowering the pipe. Repair fill stand pumps at facility 501 including motors pumps, meters API certified hoses nozzles piping and fittings as required. Replace receipt valves, install isolation valves on aviation fuel receipt line on the south of the T connection that feeds tank 508 and on the fuel receipt line west of the T connection that feeds tank 510. Replace existing 10-inch issue fuel line valves on tank 508 and 510. Magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Applicable NAICS code is 237120 size standard is $28,500,000. Performance period for this project is 120 days. All prospective offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database.
