Description

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Grain Marketing & Production Research Center, Manhattan, Kansas, requires installation of two Government-owned laboratory fume hoods. Installation shall be done Monday through Friday only between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., excluding Federal holidays, unless otherwise scheduled. OFFERORS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FAXING REQUEST FOR COPY OF THIS SOLICITATION TO THE ATTENTION OF LEE SHEA at 970/492-7031 (Direct Number 970/492-7015). POTENTIAL OFFERORS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING MANDATORY INFORMATION TO ESTABLISH A BIDDER'S MAILING LIST: COMPANY NAME, STREET ADDRESS, TELEPHONE, FAX AND CONTACT NAME. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE FAX'D SOLICITATION REQUEST TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER AS WELL AS REFERENCING SOLICITATION NO. RFQ-1259-82HW-04. REQUESTS SENT BY E-MAIL ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. FAX'D QUOTATIONS ARE ACCEPTABLE TO LEE SHEA @ 970/492-7031 ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 30, 2004 BY 5:00 P.M. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS is 235310 with a small business size of no more than $12 million average annual gross receipts for preceding three fiscal years. Specifications are contained in Solicitation No. RFQ-1259-82HW-04 which will be available on or about January 9, 2004. A Pre-bid/Pre-proposal Conference and Site Visit are scheduled for January 15, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. The anticipated award date is February 4, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency.
