Description
The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Supply Center Philadelphia and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Office of Acquisition and Materiel Management invite you to attend as a participant or an exhibitor the 2004 Federal Health Care Acquisition Conference (FHAC) taking place April 6-8, 2004, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Registration information can be found at www.fhac2004.com. FHAC is one of the largest federally-sponsored events concerning the acquisition of health care goods and services, and furthers the President's initiative to improve the quality and effectiveness of benefits and services delivery to active military[Roberts, William] worldwide , veterans, military retirees and their families. FHAC has previously attracted hundreds of participants, renowned experts, and leading decision makers from the public sector and private industry. The conference provides a unique forum to network with public- and private-sector health care industry representatives in educational, exhibition and informal settings. Special guests at the 2004 FHAC will include Secretary of Veterans Affairs Anthony J. Principi and Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs William Winkenwerder, Jr., M.D. This year's theme, "Collaborative Solutions for Improved Federal Health Care Acquisition," will focus on providing constructive input and key information toward enhancing performance, sustaining collaboration, and institutionalizing change, with the ultimate goal of delivering excellence in care to our nation's current and former military personnel and dependents. The conference will also present critical information, proven practices, "lessons learned," and recent developments in the federal health care field. Please visit our website at www.fhac2004.com to register and for more information, or you may contact Adam Shubert at 202-965-5169 or fhac@terracom.biz.
