- Description
- Required services include the operation, maintenance, product surveillance, inventory control and accounting, security, safety and plant services for Defense Fuel Support Point (DFSP) Norfolk, VA, which is comprised of three sites: Craney Island, Sewell's Point, and Yorktown. Alongside aircraft fuel services and fuel storage and distribution for Naval Station (NS) Norfolk (Chambers Field) and Naval Air Base (NAB) Little Creek. The solicitation will be available electronically on or about January 27, 2004 via the internet at www.desc.dla.mil. A preproposal conference will be held at each location in mid-February. All interested parties are required to attend. We anticipate awarding one contract. The period of performance is as follows: Base period: 1/1/2005-09/30/2009; Options 10/1/2009-09/30/2011 and 10/1/2011-09/30/2014. All responsible sources who attend the conference, may submit an offer, which will be considered.
