- Description
- The USCG MLCP in Alameda, CA is seeking qualified HubZone firms capable of accomplishing drydocking and repairs to USCGC FIR, a 225 foot buoy tender, home moorage of Astoria, OR. Work will start on 31 Mar 2004 and complete by 13 April 2004. Contractor will be required to provide a facility capable of drydocking the cutter and accomplishing the following; Underwater body inspection, underwater body preservation (partial), temporary services and drydocking. The HubZone firm must meet the limitations for subcontracting requirements (FAR 52.219-4) which states, at least 50% of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel must be expended for employees of the concern. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees. Firms that have been certified as small business HubZone by the SBA and are interested in this acquisition must submit the following information: (a) Company name and address; (b) Company POC, including telephone number, facsimile number and e-mail address; and (c) HubZone certs, to Rebecca Budde at rbudde@d11.uscg.mil, not later than 8 Jan 2004. A decision whether this will be pursued as a HubZone Small Business set-aside will be posted on www.eps.gov on 9 Jan 2004.
