- This notice is a combined synopis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is open to all vendors/suppliers. All qualified/responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Virginia Contracting Activity (VCA) on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) seeks to purchase: 49 LOTS - Ammunition, 5.56 77GR SIE Federal Load No: M556M3 (1,640 rds per crate; 80,000 rds total) HHP44033101616, Stock Number 1305011555459; 170 LOTS - Ammunitions, 9MM NATO 124 gr. ball Federal Load No: 53651 (1,000 rds per case; 70,000 rds total) HHP44033101781, Stock Number 1305011729558; 80 LOTS - Ammunitions, 12 Gauge, 1oz. slug, Tactical Reduced Recoil Federal Load No: LE127RS (250 rds per case; 20,000 rds total) HHP44033101795, Stock Number 1305012821256. All interested vendors have until 12:00 pm, Friday, 16 January 2004 to submit their quotes. The Government intends to award a fixed price order to the offeror whose quote is most advantageous on the basis of price and delivery time. Quotes shall include price per unit/total cost to include shipping to zip code 22312, delivery time, business size, DUNS #, Tax ID #, Company's address, telephone #, point of contact and email address. The provisions in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition.
