- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being accepted and a written solicitation will not be issued. This proposed action is for lease with option to purchase and maintenance service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source Pioneer Machinery Inc., under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplier Will Satisfy Agency Requirement. Interested persons may indentify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is M6700104Q0009 to lease with option to buy a Hydro-AX421E Bull Hog forestry tractor, 185 horse power, rubber tired, diesel powered, with fecon bull hog grinder/mulcher attachment. This requirement is for a three (3) months lease with options to purchase. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14, effective June 23, 2003. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code is 421810 and the corresponding size standard is 100. Offerers must be registered in the CCR (Central Contractor Registration) database. Lack of registration in the C CR will make an offeror ineligible for award.
