- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island (NUWCDIVNPT) needs to modify the REVERB system to provide the capability to process analog inputs generated from other analog sources in REVERB?s operational environment, and to replay the analog inputs in WAV format for use with other systems. The REVERB system is an acoustic playback and analysis system. The REVERB program recently utilized an Interactive Circuits and Systems Ltd. (ICS) board and connector from the CLUSTER HOUND system in the REVERB system and determined in testing that the ICS board would provide the required analog input capabilities. There are nine REVERB systems in need of this capability, and NUWCDIVNPT wishes to purchase nine ICS boards for the systems, plus one spare ICS board, as well as the analog connectors for each board. Use of another board and connector would require repeat of the testing, and unlike architecture between CLUSTER HOUND and REVERB for system users. NUWCDIVNPT requires delivery of two ICS boards and connectors in February 2004 and two units per month thereafter with final delivery in June 2004.
